There are many ways in which you can help Life Foundation to fulfill its mission.

Gifts-In-Kind - If your company has products in new, or like new, condition that you would like us to make available for distribution to our students, we would enjoy discussing that with you. Students are invited to visit the Life Foundation office to pickup food and household products at no cost. Your products help support that mission.

Monetary Donations - Monetary Donations of any amount are always welcomed and appreciated. These critical donations help fund our operations and enable us to continue functioning and serving our students.

Become A Grant Sponsor - After several years of dormancy, Life Foundation is working to revive our FOUNDERS GRANT and our LASTING PURPOSE GRANT. Both of these programs offer $1000 Grants to qualifying students. More detailed information on the two programs may be found below. Companies and individuals can sponsor as many individual grants as they desire. When this program becomes sufficiently funded and active there will be a web page showing the donors and the recipients. 100% of monetary donations made to this fund are used to fund the grant programs. These funds are not used to supplement operations.

As a licensed 501(c)(3) charitable organization all donations are tax deductible.

Programs!

Founders Grant

The Founders Educational Grant was created in 2010 in honor of Drs. Sid and Nell Williams for their lifelong dedication to the chiropractic profession. Driven by a passion to reach out to chiropractic students and help them reach their full potential, Life Foundation’s goal is to identify and invest in future chiropractic leaders. The Founders Grant will be presented to qualified applicants pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from a regionally accredited chiropractic college. Since most chiropractic students are non-traditional, the Founders Grant is intended to assist DC students with ancillary expenses such as books, technological equipment, housing, transportation, and other appropriate educational expenses. Awards will be in the amount of $1000 per recipient based on the availability of funds. Funding for this program is based solely on monetary donations. This grant is for chiropractic college students at a sophomore level or above.

Lasting Purpose Grant

Lasting Purpose is Loving For The Sake of Loving, Giving For The Sake of Giving, and Serving For The Sake Of Serving. In honor of the Drs. Williams philosophy of Lasting Purpose, this grant is made available to all college students who exude the Lasting Purpose philosophy in their life. Awards will be in the amount of $1000 per recipient based on the availability of funds. Funding for this program is based solely on monetary donations. The Lasting Purpose Grant is for 2nd-year undergraduate or graduate students. It is for 2nd-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree from an accredited institution. This grant is intended to assist students with appropriate educational expenses.

Coats & Care For College Students

Many college students are without funding for a winter coat, business attire, or essentials such as computer supplies, shoes, or casual clothing. This program provides college students the opportunity to obtain these necessities free of charge or at a discounted rate based on individual financial needs. Funding for this program is based entirely on individual donations, cash donations, and donations from our generous corporate sponsors.

Monetary donations of any amount will be accepted to further accomplish our mission. Below is a suggested guideline:

- Gift bag: For a donation of just $15 you can provide a free gift bag to a college student. Gift bags may include household items, books, sample products, T-shirts, office supplies, and more.

- Scholarships: A donation of $1000 will facilitate one educational grant.

- Coats and Care: Donations of any amount will help ensure that college students are provided essentials for living.
